Advertising Campaign – Spring Summer 2008

Radley – the UK’s leading ladies handbag, luggage and accessories brand – launches its spring summer 2008 advertising campaign this month.

Breaking on 28th March – one year on from the debut campaign launch – a series of four double page spreads will be placed in national broadsheet weekend supplements and premium women’s consumer titles, reflecting Radley’s upscale market positioning.

An increased media spend will be reflected in the number of titles and extended circulation that the campaign will reach. Beyond print, the campaign will also be executed at a retail level with double-sided window banners, strut cards and postcards in store. Radley’s in-house field marketing team will implement the new POS collateral at over 400 doors across the UK.

Similarly, the campaign will also have a strong online presence via the transactional Radley website www.radley.co.uk, which launched last year to great success.

Representing the creative approach taken with each of the bag designs, the spreads feature imagery that runs from the left hand page, leading to a shot of the bag it has inspired on the facing page.

Created by DDB London, the campaign continues the TRULY RADLEY DEEPLY strap line that reinforces the brand philosophy of “making beautiful things that women can fall in love with”, underscoring the emotional attachment between a woman and her handbag.
