Radley Floral Street Store Opening

London – 22nd March 2007

Radley, the UK's leading handbag brand, is to open its second flagship retail site in London this spring, on 6th April 2007.

Designed by Camouflage, the store is located on the corner of Floral Street and Langley Court in the heart of London’s Covent Garden, and follows the launch of Radley’s inaugural London flagship opening on Kings Road in October 2005.

The Covent Garden store will boost Radley’s solus brand retail presence in London with design features that have been specially created for the Floral Street site.

Nick Vance, Marketing Director for Radley + Co., said: 'Floral Street is a great location for the Radley brand. As well as supporting growing demand for the brand in the UK, the store allows us to show the brand at its best to international visitors where they can already find other great British companies. The design of the store, whilst based upon the identity of our Kings Rd. store, has been developed specifically for this location.'

The store has been completely re-modeled and whilst in keeping with the Covent Garden environment, the store conveys the creativity, colour and design uniqueness central to the Radley brand.

Spread across two floors, with the ground floor measuring 35 sq.m. / by 370 sq. ft., the Langley Court fascia of the building has been replaced with a single pane of glass to form one window, increasing visibility into the store.
 
The brightly coloured duck egg blue exterior of the store is contrasted with the clean internal white walls and fixtures. Angled, inset floor, wall and ceiling lights break through the product displays, guiding customers around the store and giving the store movement. The basement has been re-developed to house a lounge and product showcase area for special events.

Since its launch in 1998, Radley has grown to be the hero brand within the Radley + Co. stable. Characterised by the uniquely identifiable Scottie dog logo, Radley is stocked in its flagship store on London’s Kings Road (opened November 2005), and in over 500 retailers nationwide, including the country’s leading department stores.
